While the exact causes of neurodegenerative diseases are still not fully understood, there is increasing evidence to suggest that genetics play a crucial role in their development and progression. Genetic factors, including gene mutations, epigenetic changes, and gene expression patterns, have been linked to an increased risk of neurodegenerative diseases.
As a PhD student in the field of genetics, my research aims to investigate the influence of genetics on neurodegenerative diseases.
