Introduction
Supporting LGBTQ+ youth is a critical aspect of social work practices, as these young individuals often face unique challenges and barriers to accessing supportive services. As a PhD student in social work, I have chosen to focus my final thesis on exploring the best practices for supporting LGBTQ+ youth within the field of social work. This thesis will provide an in-depth analysis of the current state of support for LGBTQ+ youth, identify gaps in existing services, and propose recommendations for improving the overall well-being of these vulnerable populations.
